Today is Maundy Thursday, the day on which our Lord institutes the Eucharist and is betrayed into the hands of his enemies for our salvation.

The Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6.30 pm includes, in response to our Lord’s command, the washing of feet. The sacrament is then taken in procession at the end of the Mass to the altar of repose, where a watch of prayer takes place until Midnight.

Priests will be available before this evening’s Mass to hear confessions.
